Training and Recruiting

I have spent the last week (Sunday-Friday) in Alcester participating in the Helping Hands Training program.  I have learned several things:

1. I am really glad I didn't go through with Active Assistance (spinal cord injury live-in care), it would have been really difficut.
2. I don't want to be a live-in carer!

But I don't regret going because everyone I met was super nice and I had a pretty good time.  Long days though, I haven't had a full working or school day in a very long time! 9-5 days are exhausting, I don't know how all of you manage it..

The new plan:
Working with a Temp Agency in London.  One of the girls at the training had done a lot of temp work and suggested Reed Hospitality.  She also said she got a flat share in London for 360 pounds.  So when I'm done travelling a bit I'll call up Reed and sort that out, hopefully I can be working shortly after.
